To make a payment, you have several options:
Please have your PRA reference number available, which can be found on your welcome letter and in any emails that we have sent you. If you need assistance locating your PRA reference number, please contact us at 1-866-903-1741, or 1-844-203-0640 for service in Québec.
Pay at your bank
Simply add PRA Group Canada as a payee and use your PRA reference number as your account number either online, over the phone or in branch.
Bank deposit
You can deposit funds (cash, money order or certified cheque) at any BMO location with your PRA reference number. Ask for your payment to be directed to PRA Group Canada’s concentrator ID number 2646 (via their First Bank Bill Payment Service).
By mail
Make the cheque or money order payable to PRA Group Canada Inc. and include your PRA reference number, then send cheques and money orders to:

EMT (Electronic Money Transfer)
Make a payment via EMT using only a few steps – once you have logged into your bank app or online portal:
- Navigate to the “Interac e-Transfer” section* (or equivalent)
- Under “Send Money”, click on the plus sign (+) to add PRA Group as a recipient
- Name: PRA Group
- Email: EMTpayments@pra-group.ca
- Add/Enter/Save/Done (whichever option is listed on your app)
- Click on “Send Money” and enter the amount
- Use your PRA Reference/Account number as your password
- Email EMTpayments@pra-group.ca confirming the transaction, with the details:
***This email is crucial to finalize your transaction, as this is the only way we can match your payment with the correct account***- Your full name
- PRA Reference/Account number (the same one you used as your password)
- Amount paid
